Our three person team posted 3-6 organic/paid posts per week and 2-4 local market posts per month for Twitter and Instagram, in addition to semi-regular polls, agile posts, and Facebook page updates. The role also involved designing and maintaining a large number of presentations (strategy & planning, insights & learnings etc.), and also designing ‘best practices’ infographics to the TGIFridays team.
We provided much of the imagery and videos by producing multiple photo shoots, on-site at TGIF HQ in Houston, TX, or in-house.

Snapchat Filters
A producer and I delivered fun & engaging filters for Unilever’s AXE brand (in partnership with Ditch the Label anti-bullying charity) utilizing trend insights and some unofficial Gen Z/Millenial ‘focus group’ feedback, we made sure to hit the right vibe. Once flown, Snapchat reported back to us with positive results that fed our social teams valuable and actionable data.
Other AXE brand duties: A wide breadth of pitch decks, campaign learnings presentations and various mockups/team collaborations.
In preparation for Wild Turkey’s release of Talk Turkey web series starring Matthew McConaughey, I was asked to come up with logo and aesthetic direction for the promotional materials, RSVP Emailer for the premiere, and, after their team finalized the logo, design the final assets for send-off.
Our creative director's successful pitch for the Truth About Curls campaign (2012) required expressive handwritten and illustrative styles to market to women with curly hair. These images showcase my suggestions for art direction, and the client cited my Hate/Love ‘doodle style’ mock among their preferred aesthetics, feeling they needed to boost traction with a younger demographic. I then assisted in the campaign’s Facebook microsite production design as the campaign rolled out.
Weekly emailers and website refreshes, social media content design.
For about two years I worked on Scoop NYC's weekly site refresh, finishing designs, retouches and emailers under strict deadline. Using select raw photos from each featured designer, duties included silhouetting and retouching, composition/layout, and overlaying choice typography to produce a consistent, yet playfully creative look and feel.
CCO / Cofounder of UpTop LLC
• Designed iOS app, company site and online CMS software with contracted developers
• Designed booths and promotional materials for participation in TechDay New York and NYC Pride Event
• UpTop raised $750K in initial funding ($5.5M after my departure)
Our goal was to eliminate brokers and costly services by offering a unique free marketplace and new 3rd party technologies to cover all stages of the rental process — all of which would generate revenue for UpTop via small convenience fees.
I worked closely with my partner/CEO to bring our vision to life - from notebook sketches all the way to working prototype on the App Store.
While also posting weekly for TGIFridays, I was tasked with Forevermark’s weekly social media feeds; multi-platform designs, video edits and gif & cinemagraph animations for ForevermarkUSA’s 2-year Tribute Diamond Jewelry Collection social campaign and beyond. The role also involved designing a large number of internal strategy / insights presentations and ‘best practices’ infographics for the Forevermark team.
In addition to my regular duties, I was asked to lead art direction and design on an in-house production of 3 seasons of Media Dystopia: a web series devoted to analyzing and discussing the near future of various forms of digital media and branding technologies & opportunities.
Our core team consisted of a producer, myself, a freelance video gfx/editor, and one other designer.

The one that got away... Making it handily into the final round of consideration, our new business pitch to Marc Jacobs featured some undeniably colorful & stylized imagery and ideas.
"Oh, no! Not the bees! Agghhh!" - Nick Cage, The Wicker Man
For much of late 2013 to early 2014, I took fellow designer Brandon Nygard's proposed strategy/wireframes and designed the full site, taking a dark and boxy corporate aesthetic 'into the open' with simplistic flat design and full screen images. In addition to the main site, I designed an animated microsite intended to illustrate the high-end case maker's production process, visually 'evolving' their logo each step of the way, while also utilizing familiar stock/proprietary imagery. This helped eliminate the somewhat uninspired visuals and ambiguous message we felt the company's site previously relayed to online users.
We were asked to come up with concepts and treatments for Skin INC's website and won the contract, which then included wireframing, design and production using minimal assets.

Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals Inc. asked us to simplify and overhaul their aging beauty site for Rene Furterer USA. They loved and approved the first round I sent out, which was used as the basic template for the rest of the site’s landing pages.
Another final round contender, this pitch was aiming squarely at risqué. Including an exclusive 'Eyes Wide Shut' party, a fake sex tape, murder-mystery narratives, and multimedia PR blitzes on social media — the idea was to get people talking.

Here I art directed, designed and animated a mockup conveying the high-end case maker's production process, visually modifying their logo contextually each step of the way.
This site was a Facebook app / social media venture for Equinox Fitness. By selecting fitness & lifestyle oriented interests, users could meet and socialize at Equinox clubs or elsewhere. The client wanted an iOS5 look and feel, similar to their app at the time.
